Inspiration is the pathway to resonance and resonance is the connection of self to space. Home is the ultimate space of connection. The home that resonates to us is the home that we have consciously created to enhance our life, our loves and our lessons.

INSPIRATIONAL MATRIX

4-step process:

1. Reflection
            The baseline for the design.
            What is the purpose of the room?
            Look at your thoughts; what do you want to create in this room?
If you visualize this room, what is the feeling you are experiencing while you are visualizing?
How do you want to feel in the room? What are the desired feeling(s) that are to be sustained in this room?
What holds meaning in this room?
What nurtures you in this space?
What is important to keep…furniture, colors, and accessories?

Bring in vision board concept:
If we could visualize this room right now the way you would like it to be when completed, how does it look and how do you feel when you are in the room? Take that one step further and sketch, draw, take pictures you have or from a magazine, put on a small board to create what you want in that room to give you the look and the feel of the room.

Share with me what you are comfortable sharing. What is important is that you get the feeling and the visual of what you see in the room. Distill it for me and we will create from that.

2. Release
The clearing out process.
What do you want to release from this room?
What no longer serves you?   re: the furniture, color,
What no longer feels like it belongs in this room?
Clear to create from a new palette.

3. Re-Design
Once items have been cleared away, the space opens up to allow…NEW colors, textures, furniture, accessories, to create the desired purpose…. the new purpose or renewed purpose of the space which has been born of self-reflection. This is the actual- physical design stage of the process. The beauty of this process is that now the design process proceeds from a real place of integrity for you, the client. There is an excitement as we now create together that which the client has envisioned.

4. Resonance
The final stage of the Inspirational Home Matrix is that of resonance. Resonance         
is the connection of self to space. It is the feeling of comfort that is inherent in  
authentic creation. This is the meaning of home. This is the magic that transforms
your house into your home.
